Job summary

Karl Strong Construction Limited is seeking two experienced Pipe Layers and two experienced Groundworkers for a civil engineering project in Dundalk, commencing 12 October 2026. Key responsibilities include laying drainage and utility pipes, preparing beds, and assisting with trench work and backfilling.

Applicants should have a minimum of two years’ relevant experience, valid Safe Pass and Manual Handling certificates, and a full B driving licence with own transport.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years’ pipe-laying or groundworks experience.
• Valid Safe Pass and Manual Handling Certificate.
• Full B driving licence and own transport.
• Permission to work in Ireland.

Responsibilities

• Lay drainage and utility pipes safely and accurately.
• Prepare pipe beds and assist with levelling and alignment.
• Assist with trench, drainage and underground utility works.
• Work safely alongside site equipment operators.
• Assist with backfilling and related groundwork.
• Follow instructions from Site Manager and Foreman.
• Maintain high standards of site safety and workmanship.
• Report problems or unsafe conditions promptly.
