Job summary

Spectrum Health in Waterford seeks a Paediatric Physiotherapist to join our AHP team as a contractor, for 1–5 months with an immediate start. In-person work across one or more clinic sites with flexible hours (16–40 hours weekly).

You will manage a paediatric caseload, perform independent assessments, diagnose, plan and deliver treatment, educate families, and liaise with GPs and referrers. CORU, ISCP, and professional indemnity are essential.

Qualifications

• BSc or MSc in Physiotherapy (essential)
• CORU registration (essential)
• Chartered ISCP membership (essential)
• Professional Indemnity Insurance (essential)
• Relevant paediatric clinical experience (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Work with paediatric patients who have a range of conditions
• Independently assess, diagnose, develop treatment plans, then provide treatment accordingly
• Educate patients about how to prevent and/or improve their conditions
• Use app-based rehab to support patient goals
• Be responsible for medical case notes, reports, statistics, managing patient payments and issuing receipts
• Liaise with other healthcare professionals in a timely manner
• Conduct meetings with local GPs and potential referrers
• Other ad hoc duties as and when required

About The Role
