Job summary

Spectrum Health is seeking a Paediatric Physiotherapist to join our team as a contractor. The role is based in Dublinʼs North or South clinics and covers an initial fixed-term engagement of 1 to 5 months with an immediate start.

The physiotherapist will manage a predominantly paediatric caseload, delivering services in person at clinic sites. The successful candidate will be CORU registered, hold ISCP membership, and have paediatric clinical experience.

Qualifications

• BSc or MSc in Physiotherapy required.
• CORU registration required.
• Chartered membership of ISCP required.
• Professional Indemnity Insurance required.
• Relevant paediatric clinical experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess paediatric patients and develop treatment plans.
• Independently assess and diagnose paediatric conditions and provide treatment.
• Educate patients and families on prevention and management.
• Use app-based rehabilitation to support goals.
• Maintain medical notes, reports and billing records.

About the Role

Spectrum Health is seeking a Paediatric Physiotherapist to join our AHP team on a contractor basis in North or South Dublin. This is a fixed-term engagement of one to five months, with scope for an immediate start. The successful candidate will manage a predominantly pediatric caseload, delivered in person across one or more of our clinic sites.

What is the role and what will my responsibilities be?

• Work with paediatric patients who have a range of conditions
• Independently assess, diagnose, develop treatment plans, then provide treatment accordingly
• Educate patients about how to prevent and/or improve their conditions
• Use app-based rehab to support patient goals
• Be responsible for medical case notes, reports, statistics, managing patient payments and issuing receipts
• Liaise with other healthcare professionals in a timely manner
• Conduct meetings with local GPs and potential referrers
• Other ad hoc duties as and when required
