About The Role

Emerald Locums is recruiting on behalf of our HSE client for an experienced Physiotherapist to join a busy acute hospital setting in Kilkenny.

This is an excellent opportunity for a candidate with solid acute experience who can work independently and hit the ground running.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out independent physiotherapy assessments in an acute hospital setting
• Deliver evidence-based treatment plans across a varied caseload including respiratory, medical, and post-surgical patients
• Participate actively in MDT discussions and discharge planning
• Accurately maintain clinical records in line with HSE standards
• Provide patient education and support functional recovery
  
  

Requirements

• BSc or MSc in Physiotherapy
• CORU registration (essential)
• Proven acute hospital experience required
• Must be confident conducting assessments independently
• Excellent communication, documentation, and teamwork skills
