SK pharmteco seeks a PhD Chemist for its R&D Centre in Swords, Co. Dublin. The role focuses on chemistry development, process scale-up, and technology transfer for small molecules. Collaboration across Operations, Quality, EHS, and external stakeholders is essential to drive robust, in-control processes.

The candidate will contribute to continuous process verification and troubleshooting, bringing strong analytical and project management skills to bear in a cross-functional team.

Qualifications

• PhD in organic chemistry is required.
• 3+ years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
• Strong interpersonal and cross-functional collaboration abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead development projects in the R&D lab, including route scouting and process scale-up.
• Provide technical support for API and intermediate manufacture with a focus on optimisation.
• Coordinate tech transfer and process development for new products within the site.
