Job summary

McCabes Pharmacy in Limerick is seeking a Pharmacy Technician for a permanent, full-time role at Roxboro SC. The successful candidate will dispense prescriptions accurately, manage records and PCRS claims, and assist customers with advice and OTC medicine selection.

Essential: IPU Pharmacy Technician course or Level 6 qualification; 2+ years of experience preferred. McCabes values compassionate care and professional development within a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Essential: IPU Pharmacy Technician course or Higher Certificate in Pharmacy Technician Studies.
• Desirable: strong customer service and teamwork abilities.
• Two years of experience preferred for this role.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and dispense prescriptions safely and accurately.
• Manage prescription records and monthly HSE PCRS claims.
• Provide friendly, expert over-the-counter advice to patients.
• Manage dispensary stock, check expiry dates, and process orders.
• Build strong relationships with customers and colleagues.
