Qualifications

  • Previous Irish Pharmacy Technician experience (at least 1 year) is favourable.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Pharmacist in the day-to-day running of the dispensary.
  • Accurately prepare and dispense prescriptions in accordance with legislation and company procedures.
  • Provide information and advice to patients under the supervision of the Pharmacist.
  • Process claims under the HSE reimbursement schemes (PCRS), ensuring timely and accurate submission.
  • Maintain stock levels through ordering and inventory control, including checking expiry dates and ensuring proper storage.
  • Answer phone calls and assist with patient and prescriber queries professionally.
  • Ensure compliance with all legal, ethical, and regulatory requirements in the pharmacy.
  • Deliver a high standard of customer service at all times.
  • Assist with front-of-shop tasks when required.

Job description

Clarity is recruiting a Pharmacy Technician for a pharmacy in Dublin 9.

What you need to know:
This is a permanent full-time role (40h per week).No weekends, late nights, or bank holidays required. You’ll be working alongside a supportive and experienced team. The pharmacy uses the MPS dispensing system.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the Pharmacist in the day-to-day running of the dispensary.
  • Accurately prepare and dispense prescriptions in accordance with legislation and company procedures.
  • Provide information and advice to patients under the supervision of the Pharmacist.
