Job summary

Allcare Pharmacy in Coolock is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to join the team in an 8-hour permanent role. The store currently comprises an Assistant Store Manager, Supervising Pharmacist, 1 Relief, and 2 Technicians.

Be accurate with attention to detail. You will prepare and dispense medicinal products under supervision of the Pharmacist, manage stock, blister packs, and claims. You will report to and support the Pharmacist in a busy dispensary.

Qualifications

• Experience in a busy dispensary is an advantage; newly qualified technicians are welcome.
• Experience with McLernons MPS is an advantage.
• IPU Pharmacy Technician course or Higher Certificate in Pharmacy Technician Studies an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Be accurate with excellent attention to detail.
• To prepare and dispense medicinal products under the supervision of the Pharmacist in a caring and professional manner.
• Controlling stock levels and ordering medicines as determined by store requirements.
• Preparation of blister packs and processing and tracking claims.
• Reporting to and supporting the Pharmacist in a busy dispensary.
