Job summary

Uniphar Group is hiring a Pharmacy Technician to join Hickeys Pharmacy in Ballyphehane, Cork. This is a 32-hour permanent role in a busy dispensary, under supervision of the Pharmacist.

You will prepare and dispense medicinal products, manage stock, and support the Pharmacist. Newly qualified technicians welcome.

Qualifications

• Experience working in a busy dispensary is advantageous.
• IPU Pharmacy Technician course or Higher Certificate in Pharmacy Technician Studies is advantageous.
• Experience with McLernon's MPS is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Be accurate with excellent attention to detail.
• To prepare and dispense medicinal products under the supervision of the Pharmacist in a caring and professional manner.
• Controlling stock levels and ordering medicines as determined by store requirements.
• Preparation of blister packs and processing and tracking claims.
• Reporting to and supporting the Pharmacist in a busy dispensary.
