Job summary

McCabes Pharmacy is hiring a Pharmacy Technician for the Clarehall Shopping Centre store. This permanent, full-time position involves accurately dispensing prescriptions, managing records and HSE PCRS claims, and assisting patients with over-the-counter advice.

We seek an IPU Pharmacy Technician course holder or holder of a Higher Certificate in Pharmacy Technician Studies, with a team-focused mindset and commitment to excellent patient service.

Qualifications

• IPU Pharmacy Technician course or Higher Certificate in Pharmacy Technician Studies.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and dispense prescriptions safely and accurately.
• Manage prescription records and monthly HSE PCRS claims.
• Offer helpful over-the-counter advice to patients.
• Provide friendly, expert service and build strong relationships.
• Manage dispensary stock, check expiry dates, process orders and keep the operation running smoothly.
• Support personal development and team projects with new ideas.
