A prominent pharmacy in Athlone is seeking a dedicated Pharmacy Technician for a permanent position working 4 days a week. Responsibilities include assisting in the dispensary, preparing prescriptions, and providing excellent customer service. An educational opportunity to enrol in a Pharmacy Technician course while working will also be available.

• At least 1 year of experience as an Irish Pharmacy Technician is favourable.

What you need to know:
This is apermanentFull-timerole - 4 days a week!.You will be required to work every secondSaturday. Late nights, Sundays, or bank holidays are NOT required. There is agreat support teamin the store to help cater to a steady flow of customers.MPSis the dispensing system used.

What you'll be doing:

• Assisting in the dispensary
• Answering phone calls, responding to inquiries or requests
• Preparing and dispensing prescriptions to patients
• Managing and monitoring the prescribed dosages
• Taking care of paperwork and monthly claims (if needed)
• Any other duties as required

What we’re looking for:

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work as part of the team as well as on your own initiative
• Good time management
• Passion for the delivery of excellent customer service
