Job summary

Bon Secours Health System is partnering with Meditech to implement Meditech Expanse across five hospitals by summer 2025, with the Pharmacy stream focused on building, configuring, testing and documenting the EHR.

The role of Business Analyst - Pharmacist (Part time) supports requirements gathering, dictionary standardisation, and end-user training within the Pharmacy Working Group, combining clinical pharmacy expertise with IT delivery in a hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Post-qualification hospital experience is required.
• Ability to gather requirements and develop standards for data dictionaries.
• Clinical review of pharmacy drug dictionary entries following validation guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Play an instrumental role in the implementation and ongoing development of electronic medical records.
• Gather requirements, develop dictionary standards, develop site-specific and corporate content.
• Work with assigned user areas (pharmacy, nursing, inpatient medicine) regarding system optimisation and project work.
• Attend vendor education sessions and provide innovative solutions to add value.
• Collaborate with the pharmacy module readiness and READY Consultants as part of the stream.
• Recommend system functionality and access levels.
• Assist in developing processes and workflows for pharmacy information movement.
• Provide Business Analyst support, including system testing and high level validation.
• Assist in developing training materials and deliver end-user training as required.
