Job summary

Allcare Pharmacy is seeking a Pharmacy Healthcare Advisor to join the team at O'Brien's Allcare Pharmacy Hospital in Ireland. You will provide expert product information, advise customers on pharmacy ranges, and maintain high standards of customer service in a busy community setting.

As part of the pharmacy team, you will manage stock with care, participate in training, handle cash securely, and uphold Allcare’s standards and procedures while delivering excellent patient care.

Qualifications

• 1 year experience in Pharmacy/Retail/Hospitality preferable.
• Cashier experience an advantage.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Discretion when addressing customer queries and confidentiality of information.
• Good attention to detail is essential.
• Organised with the ability to multi-task under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Provide product information and advice to customers across all product ranges in the Pharmacy, consulting with the Managing Pharmacist as appropriate.
• Maintain good stock control including rotation of stock, correct suppliers and accurate delivery details.
• Deliver professional and efficient customer service at all times, enhancing relationships with customers.
• Work effectively as part of the Pharmacy team, being flexible and adaptable to assist in all areas as required.
• Maintain cooperative and professional working relationships with colleagues.
• Adhere to correct procedures with regards to security and handling of cash and receipts.
• Ensure the Pharmacy is clean, tidy and health and safety issues are addressed promptly.
• Participate in training and development programs provided by the Pharmacy.
• Provide support to other stakeholders within the Allcare network to help achieve company goals.
• Be proactive in developing the role and working autonomously.
