Job summary

Allcare Merrion Allcare Pharmacy in Dublin is seeking a Pharmacy Healthcare Advisor to deliver excellent customer service and provide information on all product ranges. You will maintain stock, support the pharmacy team, and ensure accurate cash handling while upholding health and safety standards.

You will work as part of a proactive pharmacy team, handling OTC inquiries with WWHAM and assisting in training and development.

Qualifications

• 1 year experience in Pharmacy/Retail/Hospitality preferable
• Cashier experience an advantage
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to use discretion with customer/patient information confidentially
• Good attention to detail is essential
• Organised with a proven ability to multi-task under pressure
• Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team
• Basic IT skills are an advantage

Responsibilities

• Provide product information and advice to customers across all product ranges in the Pharmacy, consulting with the Managing Pharmacist as appropriate
• Maintain good stock control including rotation of stock, maintaining appropriate stock levels, using correct suppliers, and ensuring accurate deliveries
• Deliver professional and efficient customer service at all times, enhancing the relationship with Pharmacy Customers
• Work effectively as part of the Pharmacy team, being flexible and adaptable, assisting in all areas of Pharmacy operation as required by Managing Pharmacist
• Maintain cooperative and professional working relationships with colleagues at all times
• Fulfil requests for specific over-the-counter medicines using WWHAM questioning and refer to Pharmacist when appropriate
• Be vigilant and adhere to correct cash handling and receipts procedures
• Ensure Pharmacy is kept clean and tidy; promptly report Health and Safety issues to Pharmacy Manager
• Participate in training and development programmes; proactively develop the role function
• Any other duties as required
• Build relationships with others in the pharmacy and Allcare network to support company goals
