Job description

Due to our continued growth, we currently have an exciting opportunity for an OTC Pharmacy Assistant to join the team in Limerick. We are looking for a candidate with a passion for community pharmacy and retail. OTC experience is preferred for this role. The candidate must have outstanding customer service skills, be enthusiastic and have a positive attitude to work. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wishes to join a dynamic working environment. This is a full-time contract, with flexibility to work weekends & evenings required. The main duties of this role will include the following:

• Managing pharmacy stock including general merchandising and administrative duties.
• Support & advise customers with queries & over the counter products.
• Be customer focused with excellent customer service skills.
• Engaging actively with customers and provide quality customer service.
• To work effectively as part of the Pharmacy team, being flexible and adaptable, assisting in all areas of the Pharmacy operation as required

We are looking for people with the following attributes:

• Knowledge of inventory management and stock control processes in a retail or healthcare setting (preferred)
• Multi - tasking abilities
• Attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a team
• Strong initiative & work ethic
• Strong customer service and phone etiquette skills
• Previous experience in a pharmacy setting is an advantage
