Job summary

Irish Main Contractor is seeking an experienced HSE Advisor to support a multi-million euro pharmaceutical project in Cork. You will work with the site management team and subcontractors to implement and maintain health, safety and environmental procedures, conduct audits, risk assessments and inductions to promote safe project delivery.

Qualifications

• Must have a relevant Health & Safety qualification.
• Proven experience as an HSE Advisor or Health & Safety Officer on construction projects in Ireland.
• Experience working with a main contractor or specialist construction contractor.
• Strong working knowledge of Irish health and safety legislation and site procedures.

Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain health, safety and environmental procedures across the project.
• Carry out regular site safety inspections, audits and risk assessments.
• Ensure compliance with Irish health and safety legislation and company safety standards.
• Review RAMS and Safe Plans of Action and deliver site inductions and toolbox talks.
• Work with site management and subcontractors to identify and eliminate hazards.
• Promote a positive safety culture and support safe programme delivery.
