Job summary

AbbVie seeks an experienced pharmaceutical/medical device fitter to perform planned and unplanned maintenance across aseptic manufacturing, filling and packaging. Qualifications

• Trade certified mechanical qualification (MAMF essential).
• Minimum of 4 years’ maintenance experience in a highly automated production environment.
• Experience with aseptic filling lines and packaging operations.
• Knowledge of GMP or other regulated environments and safety standards.
• Ability to read, analyse and troubleshoot mechanical/electrical/automation systems.

Responsibilities

• Planned and unplanned maintenance of mechanical services, plant and equipment.
• Determine root cause of equipment issues and implement solutions.
• Support Machine and Equipment Effectiveness improvements.
• Identify and source spare parts for equipment.
• Assist with preventative maintenance by specialist vendors.
• Assist in FAT/commissioning of new plant and equipment.
• Assist in equipment qualifications and preventative routines.
• Support risk assessments of tasks and equipment.
• Communicate concerns about work processes to management.
• Resolve technical issues to minimize downtime and support operations.
• Contribute to continuous improvement and productivity programs (MEP, OEE, OPEX, RCA).
• Provide information for KPI tracking for the Technical Team.
• Support audits and regulatory compliance activities.
• Ensure maintenance activities meet health and safety standards.
