Job summary

AbbVie is seeking a Maintenance Shift Supervisor for its Westport site to lead a team of engineers and technicians in supporting day-to-day manufacturing operations. You will ensure safe, compliant, and efficient equipment performance across shifts, drive continuous improvement, and coordinate with Technical Shift Leaders and external service providers.

The role requires a diploma or trade qualification, at least 3 years in a regulated industry, and strong troubleshooting and communication

Qualifications

• Diploma/Trade qualification in science or engineering.
• Minimum 3 years' experience in a highly regulated industry.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing equipment and instrumentation.
• Proven troubleshooting ability and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Ensure continuity across shifts with proper handovers.
• Review and approve timecards for PSEs.
• Adhere to training schedules and coordinate WO activities.
• Maintain compliance with safety, environmental and quality BOPs and cGMP standards.
• Coordinate external contractors and service engineers and commissioning projects.
• Maintain the overall cGMP of pharmaceutical processing areas and drive Right First Time.
