Job summary

Viatris is seeking a maintenance technician to support the operation of the manufacturing and packaging lines. You will maximize equipment performance and reliability through preventive and breakdown maintenance, while strictly following GMP, SOPs, and work procedures.

Role requires hands-on maintenance experience in a pharmaceutical setting, with a willingness to work rotating shifts. The company emphasizes career development and a diverse, inclusive workplace.

Qualifications

• Senior Trade Qualification or National Diploma/Degree in Mechanical or Electrical discipline.
• 3 years of post-qualification experience is desirable.
• Experience in hands-on maintenance and troubleshooting of high-speed filling in manufacturing and packaging equipment preferred.
• Experience in a similar pharmaceutical role is advantageous.
• Willingness to work a rotating shift cycle.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to operation of manufacturing process and/or packaging line equipment.
• Maximise performance, output and reliability of equipment via preventive and breakdown support.
• Adhere to SOPs and Work Procedures for operation and safe running of equipment.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene and GMP during maintenance work and storage areas.
• Communicate information to management and staff in Engineering and other departments; notify problems and status.
