Job summary

Veolia Ireland in Blanchardstown is seeking a Clean Utilities Technician to operate, maintain and troubleshoot PW, WFI, RO and UF systems within a cGMP pharmaceutical facility using the Emerson DeltaV DCS. The role requires 2–3 years of direct experience with clean utilities and hands-on maintenance skills.

You will use CMMS and EBR systems, maintain rigorous safety standards, and work a 39-hour week with early start times. A strong safety culture and good problem-solving abilities are essential.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of direct operational experience handling clean utilities in pharma/biomanufacturing.
• Proven hands-on experience with PW/WFI, RO and UF systems.
• Proficient in using Emerson DeltaV for real-time monitoring and CMMS/EBR platforms.
• Strong knowledge of cGMP and data integrity requirements.
• Ability to interpret P&IDs and technical manuals.

Responsibilities

• System Operation & Automation Monitoring: oversee PW, WFI, RO and UF generation and distribution via DeltaV.
• Preventative & Corrective Maintenance: service pumps, valves, heat exchangers, and sanitary piping.
• Troubleshooting & Alarm Response: diagnose deviations and alarms to minimize downtime.
• Sanitisation & Regeneration: perform chemic al/thermal/ozone sanitization of loops.
• Compliance & Documentation: maintain logs, batch records, work orders and shift handovers per cGMP.
• Sampling & Quality Support: coordinate with QC/EM for water testing and validation.
