Job summary

Brown Thomas Arnotts in Dublin delivers a personalised, luxury shopping experience within the Menswear Department that builds client loyalty, drives sales, and enhances brand reputation through in-depth product knowledge and outstanding service.

You will engage clients across digital and in-store channels, promote loyalty programmes, anticipate new launches and trends, support events and cross-selling, and collaborate with store teams to maintain exceptional standards of service, presentation

KNOW THE ROLE

To deliver a personalised, luxury shopping experience within the Menswear Department that builds customer loyalty, drives sales, and enhances brand reputation. The role combines in-depth product knowledge, exceptional service, and innovative client engagement to ensure every customer interaction is memorable and aligned with company values.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional customer service, creating a tailored shopping journey that meets and exceeds expectations

  • Act as an in-store expert, demonstrating extensive knowledge of luxury brands and products

  • Drive sales performance by achieving and surpassing daily, weekly, and monthly targets

  • Build and nurture long-term client relationships, promoting loyalty programmes and exclusive services

  • Use creativity and innovation to enhance customer experiences, including digital and social media engagement

  • Deliver after-sales service, ensuring customer satisfaction and retention

  • Identify opportunities to attract and develop new clients through events, promotions, and referrals

  • Collaborate with store teams to achieve department goals and maintain service excellence

  • Stay informed on new launches, seasonal trends, and sustainability initiatives, promoting these to clients

  • Maintain visual merchandising standards and ensure stock is replenished on the shop floor

  • Support the promotion of cross-selling opportunities by introducing customers to products across departments

  • Adhere to all company policies, health, and safety standards, ensuring a professional and secure environment

  • Represent the brand with professionalism and integrity, acting as an ambassador both in-store and online

  • Strong background in luxury retail, sales, or client-facing roles

  • Goal-oriented, self-motivated, and entrepreneurial in approach

  • Impeccable personal presentation and grooming standards

  • Proven ability to build trust and long-term relationships with clients

  • Extensive product knowledge of luxury brands and the ability to match products to customer needs

  • Social media savvy, with experience in client engagement through digital platforms

  • Highly organised and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously

  • Strong communication skills, both in-person and digitally

  • Flexible and adaptable to changing retail priorities

  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to service excellence
