Job summary

Brown Thomas Arnotts is seeking a Customer Service & Loyalty Agent to deliver outstanding support across phone, email, live chat, WhatsApp and social channels. You will assist with loyalty sign-ups, card issuance, points adjustments and customer engagement, while collaborating with Store, Marketing and Buying teams to ensure a seamless customer experience.

The role emphasizes problem-solving, attention to detail and empathy, with a focus on data privacy and accurate case records in in-house

KNOW THE ROLE

The BTA Customer Service & Loyalty Agent delivers exceptional customer service across all communication channels, ensuring every customer receives timely, accurate and empathetic support. The role enhances the customer journey through strong communication and influence, problem‑solving, and emotional intelligence, while supporting loyalty programmes, digital platforms and cross‑functional operations. The agent contributes to a seamless customer experience by demonstrating adaptability, resilience, and a commitment to results‑focused service delivery.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver outstanding customer service across phone, email, live chat, WhatsApp and social media channels, ensuring timely and professional responses
  • Resolve customer queries efficiently, applying strong problem‑solving and decision‑making skills to achieve first‑time resolution wherever possible
  • Manage loyalty programme activities including sign‑ups, card issuing, points adjustments and customer engagement, demonstrating strong customer relationship management
  • Conduct online order reviews and fraud checks, applying attention to detail and accountability for results to ensure system accuracy
  • Support digital gift card processes, including customer inquiries, tracking and issue resolution
  • Collaborate with concessions, Marketing, Buying and Store teams, demonstrating effective teamwork and collaboration to enhance customer outcomes
  • Maintain accurate case records and customer details using in‑house systems, applying strong planning and organising skills
  • Promote and educate customers on the Brown Thomas Arnotts App, demonstrating strong communication and influence
  • Provide support to in‑store teams by retrieving loyalty card numbers, transaction details and customer information as required
  • Participate in ongoing training, demonstrating passion for learning and staying informed on promotions, policies and product updates
  • Monitor customer feedback and trends, applying insights‑focused thinking to identify opportunities for service improvement
  • Build strong relationships with customers and colleagues, demonstrating emotional intelligence, empathy and professionalism
  • Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations and company policies, demonstrating strong ethical practice and confidentiality
