Job summary

People USA provides people living with mental health and/or addiction issues with peer-led support and behavioral health care in Kingston, NY. The LMSW/LMHC role offers direct services, assessments, treatment planning, and discharge planning under Site Director supervision at the Ulster County Crisis Support Center.

The per diem opportunity includes coverage across morning, afternoon, and overnight shifts, with a differential for overnight hours and emphasis on trauma-informed, person-centered

Qualifications

• Masters in Social Work (LMSW) or LMHC licensure or eligibility.
• Experience with crisis intervention and trauma-informed care.
• Ability to engage families and community partners in care planning.

Responsibilities

• Provide crisis de-escalation and therapeutic interventions.
• Develop assessments, treatment plans, and discharge planning.
• Collaborate with individuals, families, and external partners to coordinate services.
• Complete required documentation in a timely manner and maintain records.
