About this job:
Reporting to the Head of Finance & Investments Applications, the purpose of this role is to lead the PeopleSoft General Ledger support and enhancements to ensure reliable internal and external reporting.
As a member of the IT department, your responsibilities will include:
- Guide and coach the continuous improvement and evolution of the in-scope applications together with internal stakeholders and external service providers located across the globe.
- Contribute to the management of Finance initiatives by following a governance model for reviewing, prioritizing, and monitoring these initiatives.
- Coordinate between IT, finance, consultants, and developers on all aspects of application management.
- Manage support processes across multiple time zones and cultures.
- Formalize business cases for new functionalities or developments.
- Conduct business requirements gathering, gap analysis, and process re-engineering sessions.
- Propose functional solutions and build related specifications for developers.
- Develop and execute test scripts, provide training, and support testing processes.
Qualifications
About you:
- 5+ years’ experience in PeopleSoft Financials.
- Postgraduate or master's qualification in Finance and Accounting with a strong interest in Information Systems, or vice versa.
- Experience with General Ledger, Multicurrency, Consolidation, Closing, Allocations, Journal Entry Processing, VAT, Withholding Tax, Trees & Queries, GL Workflow, and GL integrations.
- Knowledge of Tax provisioning, accounts payable, and receivable concepts.
- Experience with implementation, testing, training, and problem-solving within core PeopleSoft Financials modules.
- Proficiency in enterprise applications, interfaces, and SQL for analysis.
- Knowledge of Nvision, Business Object, Power BI is a plus.
- Familiarity with PeopleTools suite, PeopleSoft Security Administration, SQR, Autosys, and Job Scheduler tools.
- Understanding of lifecycle management, managing multiple deliverables, and working in rapidly changing environments.
- Experience with systems integration, technical interfaces, and analytics.
- Ability to own tasks, prioritize, multitask, and work independently remotely.
- Ability to participate in multiple international projects simultaneously.
