Job summary

Air Apps is hiring a People Operations Specialist to drive HR operations, recruitment, onboarding, and employee support across our Lisbon office. You will ensure smooth payroll coordination, benefits administration, and candidate experience while working with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.

The role is fully onsite in Lisbon; relocation support is available. You will collaborate closely with managers to streamline processes and maintain compliant, people-first operations.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in recruiting, including sourcing, interviewing, and negotiating offers.
• Hands-on experience with Applicant Tracking Systems, especially Ashby.
• Proficient with LinkedIn tools and sourcing platforms.
• Experience supporting HR operations: payroll, benefits, and employee services.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Familiarity with Portuguese labour law framework and its hiring impact.
• Excellent written and verbal English; Portuguese proficiency is a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end recruitment tasks including job postings, candidate sourcing, interview scheduling, and process coordination.
• Collaborate with hiring managers to track progress and maintain momentum.
• Help create a positive candidate experience from first contact to final offer.
• Coordinate onboarding logistics and new-hire integration.
