Job description

Our client, a major employer in the Shannon region, has engaged with us in CPL to help them recruit for an experienced & senior level Payroll Specialist to join their HR team on a permanent basis.

This position could be an ideal opportunity for a suitably qualified payroll or comps/bens focused professional who is now looking to further develop their career with one of the most reputable & fast growing companies in the region.

The Job:

Acting as a key part of the HR team & reporting to the HR Manager, the successful candidate will work across the full spectrum of payroll/comps & bens duties including managing employee & payroll data, updating complex T&A reports, engaging with employees on their comps/bens queries & supporting the onboarding & offboarding of employees on company pension & benefits packages.

In addition to these core duties, you will also participate in employee engagement projects, provide data & metrics to relevant stakeholders & help to implement ongoing HR change & process improvements across payroll function & wider business.

Your Skills/Experience that we need:

  • 3rd level degree qualified ideally.
  • IPASS or a relevant accounts/HR qualification would be an advantage.
  • 3+ years' relevant experience in a payroll or comps/bens focused role.
  • Excellent inter-personal skills & ability to interact with colleagues at all levels of seniority.
  • Strong IT & reporting skills including T&A systems & MS Office.

The Offer:

This position is being offered as a permanent role with a base salary depending on skills/experience but expected to range up to 60k approx. In addition, there is a strong benefits package including pension, private health cover & significant scope for further career growth & development.

This role will be 5 days office based in Shannon.
