The Position

Reporting to the Payroll Manager, we wish to appoint an Associate to work in the Payroll Outsourcing Services department of Forvis Mazars. Forvis Mazars has a dedicated outsourced payroll bureau that provides payroll service solutions to its clients ranging from multinational companies to owner managed businesses and to public sector bodies. A full training programme will be provided to the ideal candidate.

Responsibilities

• Scheduling work to strict deadlines
• Daily receipt and processing of payroll information
• Issuing payslips
• Dealing with client queries
• Full training program will be provided to ideal candidate.
• The payroll trainee will report to the payroll manager within the payroll division.
• Management of time incurred on payroll processing.
• Filing of Revenue returns online ROS
• Liaising with clients
• Liaising with Revenue Commissioners
• General administration duties

Ideal Candidate

• Successful candidate must be IPASS qualified or prepared to complete IPASS course as part of their training contract
• Knowledge of computerised payroll systems
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel
• Ability to work effectively to deadlines
• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
• Ability to work on own initiative
• Meticulous attention to detail
• Effective organisational skills
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Previous payrolls experience an advantage
