Job summary

Bon Secours Hospital Cork invites applications for Clinical Nurse Manager III (CNM3) – Circulating, a full-time permanent senior nursing role in Cork. The CNM3 will lead nursing teams, drive service improvement and ensure high standards of patient care in a busy acute hospital.

Applicants must be NMBI registered in General Division, with 5+ years post-registration experience in acute general care, and at least 2 years in management.

Qualifications

• Registered nurse with General Division on the NMBI live register.
• Minimum of 5 years post-registration experience in an acute general setting.
• Minimum of 2 years management experience is essential.
• Proven track record in Nursing Management at a senior level.
• Preceptorship/teaching and assessing of students is essential.
• Completed a management course and/or other relevant post-registration courses.
• Experience in the implementation of service improvement and development.
• Excellent leadership skills with the ability to problem solve and use initiative.
• Experience in managing bed capacity and staff utilization.
• Knowledge of Quality Framework Health Services in Ireland and accreditation processes.

CLINICAL NURSE MANAGER III (CNM3) –CIRCULATING Full Time Permanent

Bon Secours Hospital Cork is part of the Bon Secours Health System which is the largest independent hospital group in Ireland with over 2,500 staff including 350 leading consultants. The successful applicant will be required to enhance and maintain the highest standards in patient care at all times. Candidate Requirements

• Registered in the General Division of the live register of nurses kept by the NMBI
• A minimum of 5 years post registration experience in an acute general
• A minimum of 2 years management experience is essential
• A proven track record in Nursing Management at a senior level

• The ability to negotiate and resolve difficult clinical, operational and interpersonal situations
• Experience the management of effective utilisation of bed capacity and staff management
• Possess extensive knowledge/experience of the principles and practices of Nurse Management
• Demonstrate specific knowledge of Quality Framework Health Services in Ireland and to have experience in Accreditation processes
