Overview

Mercedes-Benz Cork, a principal dealer for Mercedes-Benz in Ireland and Cork's exclusive Mercedes-Benz dealership, is currently seeking an Experienced Parts Advisor to join our esteemed team. We are a sister company of MDL (Motor Distributors Limited) which are the importers for Mercedes-Benz in Ireland. Our dealership, located in East Gate Business Park, Little Island, County Cork, operates a Sales, Service, Repair and Parts facility dedicated to Mercedes-Benz. As part of the MSL Motor Group, a family-owned business which has been in operation since 1959, we have an esteemed reputation for meeting and exceeding the highest level of standards within the Mercedes-Benz brand. We are currently seeking an Experienced Parts Advisor to join our team.

Main Duties And Responsibilities

• Identify the correct parts required for trade, retail and workshop customers.
• Efficiently manage all telephone, email and online enquiries.
• Work as part of a team to achieve company and departmental targets.
• Ensure the highest standards of housekeeping are achieved within the parts department.
• Communicate and build a rapport with the other departments.
• Maintain and build the customer database through telephone calls and planned visits.
• Process parts orders through the various software systems and DMS.
• Create and complete parts returns to each of the distributors.
• Check off deliveries and input the information on the DMS.
• Follow the outlined structures to assist with inventory levels.
• Provide parts delivery cover if required.

Required Skills, Knowledge And Experience

• Have relevant experience in a similar parts position.
• Have an understanding of Mercedes-Benz parts and their function.
• Demonstrate a proven ability to work to high standards.
• Display a desire to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
• Have strong IT skills including operating systems, Microsoft etc.
• Knowledge of Keyloop an advantage but not essential.
• Possess strong organisational skills, with excellent attention to detail.
• Be diligent, with a flexible approach to work.
• Work well under pressure.
• Be a team player.
• Hold a full, valid and current drivers licence.
