Job summary

Arts Council in Ireland seeks a Participatory Arts Support Manager to contribute to policy formulation, development initiatives, funding and relationship management within the Participatory Arts team.

The role involves managing funding assessments, overseeing grant payments, and supporting team leadership under the Combined Arts Director, contributing to the MGAW strategy across the organisation. A degree and public sector experience are essential.

Qualifications

• At least three years experience in a public sector body.
• Commitment to Participatory Arts development.
• Understanding of the policy environment for arts development.
• Ability to think analytically and communicate complex ideas clearly.
• Experience in managing funding and client relationships.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work in a team and manage own workload.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to delivery of Arts Council's strategic goals and MGAW strategy.
• Lead designated project teams and provide coaching/support.
• Manage funding relationships and grant assessments.
• Sign-off on and oversee award payments.
• Develop and implement policy initiatives/programmes.
• Report to Head of Team and work with Combined Arts Director.
