Job summary

53 Degrees North in Cork is hiring part-time sales staff to deliver excellent customer service in a fast-paced outdoor retail environment. You will assist customers, drive sales, answer questions, and process transactions while maintaining store standards.

Candidates should love the outdoors, have strong communication skills, and be available on weekends with at least one weekday. Parking and staff discounts are included in benefits.

Qualifications

• 1 year sales experience preferred.
• 1 year customer service experience preferred.
• Fluent English is required.

Want to join the 53 Degrees North team? We have part-time sales positions available in our Cork store. Must be available to work weekends and preferably at least one weekday.

Key Duties, Responsibilities & Requirements:

• To serve customers by assisting with the selection of products.
• To drive sales through engagement of customers, suggestive selling, and sharing product knowledge.
• To greet and receive customers in a welcoming manner.
• To respond to customers’ questions.
• To provide outstanding customer service
• To manage financial transactions.
• To process payments by totaling purchases, processing checks, cash, and store or other credit and debit cards.
• To alert management of potential security issues.
• To assist with inventory, including receiving and stocking merchandise.
