Day to day you will:
Front Desk & Guest Hospitality
  • Greet show guests warmly upon arrival, providing refreshments and accommodating them prior to going on air.

  • Answer high-volume incoming telephone calls, accurately passing along listener comments and messages for show agendas.

  • Assist with general office admin, including managing daily newspapers and running routine system backups.

Radio Bingo Administration
  • Monitor the bingo line, call listeners, and verify winning tickets.

  • Update bingo numbers online promptly and email winners and updated numbers directly to the production team.

  • Prepare bingo readout sheets for presenters and manage over-the-counter bingo book sales.

Classifieds & Production Support
  • Process bookings and take payments for Classifieds (Community Diary, Family Notices, and Job Search Ads).

  • Update and finalize the Community Diary daily, delivering it to the production team strictly by 11:30 AM.

  • Process funeral notices and double-check that all notice items are fully invoiced.

  • Print daily broadcast and timing reports for presenters.

Finance & Cash Handling
  • Process incoming payments for the Sales team.

  • Manage and reconcile petty cash.

  • Prepare and make routine bank lodgements.

What we're looking for from you:
  • Strong organisational skills with tight deadline management (e.g., morning production cut-offs).

  • Warm, professional phone manners and strong face-to-face customer service skills.

  • Trustworthy cash-handling experience (petty cash, daily sales, banking).

  • Proficiency in basic software, web updates, and email management.
