Job summary

UniJobs, on behalf of TUS, LSAD, is recruiting a Part Time Library Assistant for the 26/27 academic year (term-time only). The role is 20-25 hours per week with evening work up to 9pm, and pays 17.55 per hour.

Based primarily in LSAD and occasionally Moylish campus, you will support circulation, shelving, catalogue use, and help library users with enquiries by phone, email or in person. Candidates should have an Art-related degree or be studying art, with strong customer service and proficiency

Qualifications

• Strong customer service ethos.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Detailed knowledge of email, Word, Excel and Teams.

Responsibilities

• Maintain circulation of library materials through issuing, renewing and returning books.
• Shelving of items according to Dewey Decimal Classification.
• Assist library users with catalogue, photocopiers, printers, self-issue machines and online resources; handle enquiries by phone, email or in person.
