Job summary

Magnet Community Group in Cork City is seeking an Early Years Educator (AIM Support) to join a dedicated team. The role focuses on AIM support within a classroom alongside two key persons. The ideal candidate will have strong interpersonal skills, knowledge of Aistear & Siolta, and a caring, proactive approach.

The position is term-time, 15 hours per week, with an immediate start and commitment through June 2027. Garda Vetting and Child Protection awareness are required.

Qualifications

• QQI Level 5 Childcare is the minimum requirement.
• QQI Level 6 Childcare or higher is desirable.
• Garda Vetting/Police Clearance required.
• Knowledge of Aistear & Siolta Frameworks.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Provide AIM support within a classroom alongside two key persons.
• Immediate start until end of June 2027 (term time).
• Working hours: 15 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
• Create a safe, caring and inclusive learning environment for children.
