Job summary

Top Oil Moycullen is seeking a Part-Time Retail Sales & Deli Assistant to join their team in Co. Galway. You will handle deli counter service, respond to customer queries, and help keep the deli stocked and appealing.

The role also covers shop duties including till operation, cash handling, stocking and maintaining a clean, presentable store. Flexibility for early mornings, evenings and weekends is required; full training will be provided.

Qualifications

• Initiative and a good work ethic.
• Experience in a deli is advantageous but not essential, full training provided.
• Good at multi-tasking and able to handle busy periods.
• Flexible with early mornings, evenings and weekends.
• Positive attitude and friendly demeanor toward customers.

Responsibilities

• Provide responsive, exceptional deli counter service, answer questions, make recommendations.
• Prepare special orders for deli customers.
• Update displays and cases to showcase new items and promotions.
• Maintain clean work areas and ensure tools are in good condition.
• Follow all food safety and sanitation procedures.
• Assist with shop duties to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Serve customers at the till, keep shelves stocked and tidy.
• Handle cash and ensure safe custody of money.
• Answer customer enquiries at the desk.
• Follow cashier policies and procedures.
