Job summary

A recruitment agency is looking for an experienced Clerical Administrator to work part-time in South Tipperary. The successful candidate will be responsible for greeting customers, managing appointments, maintaining records, and handling office supplies. Candidates should have 1-2+ years of experience, strong interpersonal skills, and familiarity with healthcare settings is advantageous. The position offers €17.10 per hour, paid weekly.

Job description

CPL are currently looking to hire an experienced Clerical Administrator to work 3 days per week in South Tipperary. The successful candidate should have strong Office administration & reception skills, working in a small team environment and will be responsible for some of the following duties:

  • Greet customers warmly & provide a professional impression of the organization.
  • Answer phones, respond to inquiries, and direct calls appropriately.
  • Manage the appointment calendar and manage booking of meeting rooms
  • Maintain databases and electronic records.
  • Manage office supplies, including tracking inventory and placing orders.
  • Responsible for the accounts payable, accounts receivable and petty cash.
  • Always ensure the security and confidentiality of Service User and employee files.

Assist in the drafting and issue of letters, memos, and general information.

Hours of work:

Monday, Wednesday & Friday 9.00am to 5.00pm with 1 hour for lunch

Your Skills/ Experience that we need:

  • Must have 1-2+ years of experience in Office Administration
  • Experience working in a Healthcare or social care setting is an advantage
  • Must have fantastic interpersonal and communication skills and possess awareness and sensitivity towards patient requirements.
  • Strong IT and Data Processing skills with excellent typing skills are essential.
  • Polite and clear telephone manner.
  • Garda Vetting is essential for this role

The Offer:

This position is a contract role paying €17.10 per hour paid weekly
