Job summary

OhioHealth in Dublin, OH is seeking a part-time Certified Pharmacy Technician to support patient care in a hospital pharmacy. You will interpret, prepare/compound, label and distribute medications, and assist with IV preparations as needed while maintaining patient age considerations and safety.

Under supervision of a Pharmacist, you will handle medication distribution, documentation, inventory, and process improvement, working in an interdisciplinary team to ensure timely, accurate therapy

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Must be registered as a Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) with Ohio Board of Pharmacy.
• Knowledge of compounding, pharmacy math, hospital pharmacy operations, and medical terminology.

Responsibilities

• Prepare/compound a comprehensive range of therapies for patient use.
• Label and document pharmacy products for final distribution.
• Actively involved in medication distribution: ordering, receiving, stocking, dispensing.
• Participate in process improvement activities and training.
• Support department safety, quality, and professional development initiatives.
