Job summary

Excel Healthcare Recruitment is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to join a well-established community pharmacy in Tallaght, South Dublin. The role focuses on accurate dispensing, stock management, patient care, and adherence to HSE guidelines.

Qualifications

• Pharmacy Technician course or certificate required.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong communication and patient care focus.

Responsibilities

• Accurately prepare and dispense prescriptions in line with pharmacy procedures
• Maintain prescription records and support monthly HSE PCRS claim submissions
• Provide professional over-the-counter advice and support to patients and customers
• Deliver excellent customer service and build strong relationships with patients
• Manage dispensary stock, including ordering, rotation, expiry date checks, and stock control
• Ensure compliance with pharmacy regulations, policies, and standard operating procedures
• Support the smooth day-to-day running of the dispensary
• Participate in training, professional development, and team initiatives
• Contribute ideas and support continuous improvement within the pharmacy
• IPU Pharmacy Technician Course or Higher Certificate in Pharmacy Technician Studies
