Job summary

Sodexo Group in Portlaoise is hiring a Catering Assistant at ESB Training Centre. This part-time role offers 25 hours per week, Tue–Thu, at €14.80 per hour, with opportunities for career development and our Sodexo employee benefits package.

You will deliver friendly service to colleagues and customers, assist with daily service setup, food prep and serving, keep dining areas clean, and work closely with the kitchen team while following hygiene guidelines.

Qualifications

• Experience in hospitality or food service is a bonus, but we’ll provide full training.
• Strong communication skills and a friendly, can-do attitude.
• A focus on cleanliness and hygiene.
• A team-player, with willingness to help out.

Responsibilities

• Deliver friendly and welcoming service to colleagues, clients, and customers
• Assist with daily service setup, food prep and serving from our menus
• Keep service and dining areas clean, tidy, and well-organised
• Work closely with the kitchen team to keep everything running smoothly
