Job summary

Ethos Care Group in Waterford is seeking a Part-Time Activities Coordinator to design and deliver engaging activities for residents. You will enhance wellbeing through social and recreational programmes, working in a friendly, supportive team.

The role requires QQI Level 5 in Healthcare, with experience with older persons preferred, and strong communication and organisational skills. Flexible scheduling, meals provided on duty, and other benefits are offered in a part-time capacity.

Qualifications

• QQI Level 5 in Healthcare or related field.
• Experience working with older persons is desirable.
• Creative, positive and engaging personality.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver activities that support resident wellbeing.
• Encourage participation and tailor activities to individual needs.
• Build relationships with residents and the local community.
• Maintain records of engagement and participation.
