Job summary

GPC Finance, a well-established South Dublin accountancy practice, seeks a Part-Qualified Accountant to join a growing team. You will gain hands-on experience across diverse clients, with structured training and mentorship to accelerate your professional progress.

With a minimum of two years in practice and pursuing ACA/ACCA/CPA, you will handle accounts prep, audits, and taxation support while building client relationships in a supportive, career-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Part-qualified ACA/ACCA/CPA or currently studying towards a professional qualification.
• Minimum of 2 years' experience in an accountancy practice.
• Experience assisting with accounts prep, audit and client service assignments.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation of year-end financial statements for a diverse client portfolio.
• Support completion of audit assignments from planning through to completion.
• Prepare management accounts and assist with bookkeeping and VAT compliance.
• Liaise with clients to obtain information and resolve queries.
• Assist with corporation tax, income tax and other compliance tasks.
• Work with senior team members to ensure timely, accurate assignments.
• Develop understanding of clients' businesses and provide practical support.
• Manage multiple client assignments with strong attention to detail.
• Utilise accounting software and cloud-based systems to support service delivery.
• Contribute to a collaborative team environment.
