Job summary

GPC Finance in Galway is seeking a Part-Qualified Accountant to join a growing team. You will gain exposure to year-end accounts, management accounts, and tax-related tasks while receiving extensive training in a supportive environment.

The role offers study support, excellent training, long-term career progression, and hybrid working arrangements. Applicants should have at least 1 year’s Irish practice experience and be part-qualified ACA/ACCA.

Qualifications

• Part-qualified ACA or ACCA, or an equivalent professional qualification.
• At least 1 year’s experience working within an Irish accountancy practice.
• Practical experience preparing accounts and reconciling balance sheet items, including VAT, payroll, fixed assets, and leases.
• Proficiency in Excel and accounting software such as Sage or QuickBooks.

Responsibilities

• Prepare year-end non-audit accounts and accurate supporting working papers.
• Assist with the preparation of management accounts and related financial information.
• Build your knowledge and experience across accounting and tax assignments.
• Communicate professionally with clients via phone and email while developing strong client relationships.
