Job Responsibilities
  1. Perform month-end reconciliations including fixed assets, prepayments, accruals, and intercompany accounts.
  2. Manage online banking transactions, including electronic funds transfers.
  3. Handle taxation matters such as VAT, PAYE, RCT, WHT, and revenue queries.
  4. Conduct VAT reconciliations, Intrastat, and VIES returns.
  5. Prepare monthly management accounts and commentaries.
  6. Assist in budget and reforecast preparations.
  7. Contribute to statutory accounts preparation.
  8. Maintain SLA agreements and issue monthly invoices to group companies.
  9. Reconcile inter-company balances monthly.
  10. Update accruals, prepayments, and control accounts regularly.
  11. Oversee creditors and debtors management.
  12. Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
Candidate Profile
  • Part-qualified accountant with at least 3 years of experience in practice or industry.
  • Experience with ERPs, preferably Sun, is advantageous.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word.
  • Knowledge of Irish revenue systems (ROS).
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage time effectively.
  • Excellent team interaction skills and initiative.
  • Fluent in English, both oral and written.
