Qualifications

• Pursuing ACA or ACCA with part-qualified status.
• Minimum 2 years' experience in an accountancy practice.
• Solid technical accounting knowledge and commercial awareness.
• Confident, client-facing communicator with strong organisation.

Responsibilities

• Prepare year-end non-audit financial statements and working papers.
• Complete balance sheet reconciliations including VAT, payroll, fixed assets, leases, and hire purchase.
• Post journals to accounting systems in line with standards and procedures.
• Assist in preparation of monthly and quarterly management accounts.
• Prepare statutory financial statements by deadlines and compliance requirements.
• Support year-end close processes, including accruals and prepayments.
• Assist with Corporation Tax computations and returns.
• Communicate professionally with clients via phone and email.
• Support managers and senior accountants with ad-hoc tasks.
