The successful candidate will supervise junior staff, prioritise work to tight deadlines and work towards professional accountancy qualifications with strong exam support and mentorship.

We are seeking motivated Part-Qualified Accountants to join our growing practice in Cork, offering the opportunity to develop technical expertise, build strong client relationships and gain experience across a varied portfolio of businesses.

• Supervision of junior staff, good interpersonal and communication skills
• A key requirement of the position is to have outstanding organisational skills and the ability to prioritise according to importance and urgency while working to tight deadlines
• Excellent motivation, commitment and enthusiasm
• Studying towards a professional accountancy qualification – including nearly qualified candidates

Key Responsibilities include:

• Responsibility for a portfolio of clients across a range of industries
• Liaising closely with clients
• Preparing and reviewing working papers and financial statements, and tax returns across a variety of tax heads and liaising with directors
• Preparation and submission of company secretarial returns
• Involved in audit assignments
• Researching and resolving technical queries from clients
