Paediatric Orthopaedic Surgeon – Spine (Special Interest)

Role: Consultant Paediatric Orthopaedic Surgeon with Special Interest in Spine, based in Dublin.

Purpose of Role: The post provides paediatric orthopaedic elective care across the general spectrum of paediatric orthopaedics, with a subspecialty focus on spine surgery.

Requirements:

• 2+ years experience consulting across paediatric orthopaedics
• Credibility as an experienced clinician respected by both clinical and non-clinical teams
• Ability to apply evidence-based decision-making and manage complex service reconfigurations
• Strong leadership, team management, and change management skills
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement abilities
• Knowledge of governance structures, national health programmes, and health sector reforms
