Job summary

Children’s Health Ireland is seeking a clinical leader to drive nursing leadership within the Paediatric Outpatient Department. The post holder will work closely with Clinical Nurse Managers, Clinical Nurse Specialists, physicians and multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient care in the OPD.

Essential criteria include registration with the NMBI, 5 years post-registration with 3 in acute paediatric nursing, plus evidence of CPD and proven clinical management experience.

Qualifications

• Be registered on the Children’s Division of the Register of Nurses & Midwives with at least 5 years post-registration experience.
• Three years within acute paediatric nursing.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional and managerial leadership within the Paediatric OPD.
• Forge links with nursing teams to optimise paediatric nursing practice.
• Collaborate with Clinical Nurse Managers, Clinical Nurse Specialists, physicians and MDTs.
