Job summary

Care Connect Group Ireland is seeking an experienced Homecare Nurse Manager with Paediatric and Community Nursing expertise to lead clinical governance and coordinate care for children and young people with complex needs in the homecare setting.

You will provide nursing leadership, supervise teams, support recruitment and training, and liaise with families and healthcare partners to drive continuous improvement in community-based care delivery.

Qualifications

• Active NMBI registration.
• Minimum 3 years post-registration nursing experience.
• Demonstrated Paediatric Nursing and Community Care experience.
• Experience supporting children with complex healthcare needs.

Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate homecare services for paediatric and community-based clients.
• Conduct clinical assessments and develop personalised care plans.
• Provide clinical leadership, supervision, and support to nursing teams.
• Ensure compliance with NMBI standards and clinical governance.
• Monitor patient outcomes and review care plans for quality.
• Liaise with families, hospital teams, GPs, and multidisciplinary professionals.
• Support recruitment, onboarding, training, and competency assessments of staff.
• Ensure accurate documentation, incident reporting and risk management.
• Participate in service development, audits and quality improvement initiatives.
• Provide on-call clinical support as required.
• Tutor experience or trainer qualification (City & Guilds).
