Job summary

BAYADA Home Health Care in Ireland is seeking Registered Nurses to deliver one-to-one paediatric care to children with complex needs in their homes, with shifts including day and night options in Portlaoise. You will join a nurse-led team that values compassionate, family-centered care and clinical excellence.

Applicants must have NMBI registration (RCN/RGN/RNID) and paediatric experience, with training up to current standards.

Qualifications

• Current NMBI registration (RCN, RGN, RNID).
• Minimum 1 year acute paediatric or relevant experience.
• Up-to-date mandatory training in line with NMBI requirements.
• Eligible to work in the Republic of Ireland without sponsorship.
• Commitment to delivering compassionate one-to-one care.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-to-one paediatric home care to children with complex needs.
• Deliver clinical care in the child’s home setting and support families.
• Follow BAYADA clinical guidelines and maintain high-quality care.
• Participate in shift handovers, on-call rotas and ongoing training.

BAYADA Home Health Care are currently recruiting for Registered Nurses to deliver one to one care to children with complex needs in their homes. This is a unique opportunity for experienced nurses to focus on quality care, clinical excellence and meaningful connections outside the hospital setting. We welcome applications from RCN/RGN qualified nurses with paediatric experience who are committed to compassionate, family-centered care. You will be part of a dedicated care team, supporting children and families with clinical care in the home environment. This position offers flexibility, autonomy and the support of a nurse-lead organisation that prioritises quality and consistency.

Shift Schedule:
Day shifts: Two 8-hour shifts available, Monday–Saturday
Night shifts: Seven 10-hour night shifts available
