NHS Scotland is seeking a Paediatric Complex Care team member to support children and their families across the Highlands in home and community settings. The role involves accompanying the child to school/nursery, appointments, outings and respite during shifts.

Training lasts about eight weeks, after which you will work independently with supervision and follow established guidelines to care for the child’s healthcare needs, including flexible day, evening, weekend and night shifts in a 24/7

Formación

• Experience of working with children and/or in community care is essential.
• Training will be provided to achieve competencies and will take approximately 8 weeks.

Responsabilidades

• Support children and families in education, appointments, hospital visits and activities.
• Lone working with the child/family after training under team leader guidance.
